For this internship position, we are looking for a student who will be joining our team for at least 15 weeks, for 4 or 5 days per week. 

Reception Meeting & Events

Operational

We are looking for an enthusiastic, representative trainee to join our Sales department.

WHAT YOU DO 💪

What we expect of you:

• You welcome our guests at events, you accompany them to the meeting room and you discuss the program.
• You are the first point of contact for our guests, and you address them in a friendly and hospitable way.
• You make sure our Business Foyer is neat and clean. In busy times, you support the banqueting team.
• You support the sales team by doing administrative work.

WHO YOU ARE 😁

You are hospitable, representative and a real team player. Even when it gets busy, you keep your cool. You work accurately and have a commercial focus. Furthermore, you have a flexible attitude and no 9-17 mentality. Knowledge of IDPMS is a plus. You are studying the following study:

Banqueting

OPERATIONAL LEVEL

Are you the motivated student who will be supporting our team? Are you passionate about the hospitality industry and would you like to support us in making sure that our guests have a pleasant stay and/or visit? And do you do this with a radiant smile? Then we have a great internship for you as a Banqueting Trainee.

WHAT YOU DO 💪

As a Banqueting Trainee you will be responsible for the following:

• You organise meetings, conferences, weddings, receptions and all kinds of other events with the guidance of the Banqueting Manager or Supervisor.
• You help prepare the rooms for the events.
• You provide the catering during these events.
• You are the point of contact for our guests.
• You do everything you can to make the day run perfectly and improvise where necessary.
• After the events you ensure that the rooms are cleaned up.

WHO YOU ARE 😁

As a Banqueting Trainee, you are representative, flexible and stress resistant. You are a hospitality management student. You are an organisational talent, you like being in contact with people and you always come up with creative solutions. You also have a command of the Dutch and English language.

Banquet Sales

MANAGEMENT LEVEL

Are you the organisational talent who ensures that every conference, wedding or other event runs smoothly? And do you do this with a radiant smile? In that case, we have an amazing internship for you as a Banquet Sales Trainee.

WHAT YOU DO 💪

The Banquet Sales department is responsible for organising and taking on all events and group reservations in our hotel. From beginning to end, everything should be organised to the very last detail! Together with you colleagues you are involved in every stage of the event, from the inquiry to the invoice. This means that a lot is expected of you, and you bear a lot of responsibility. The following tasks will be on your agenda:

• You help planning and organising meetings, conferences, weddings, receptions and other events.
• You take on new inquiries and you prepare tenders.
• You listen very carefully to the wishes of our guests and you make sure that those wishes are fulfilled and that expectations are even exceeded.
• You make sure every event runs smoothly and you improvise where necessary.
• You work out scenarios.
• You handle telephone appointments.
• You are the point of contact for our guests.

WHO YOU ARE 😁

As a Banquet Sales Trainee, every day is different. Because of this, the internship is extremely varied. But this can also be demanding at times. With your positive attitude, you think in terms of challenges and you know how to keep all the plates spinning during important events. You are an organisational talent who likes to be around people and who always comes up with creative solutions. You are able to work independently and have an eye for detail. Lastly, knowledge of IDPMS is a plus.
