Responsibilities & tasks:
You are responsible for the daily business of the restaurant and/or banqueting rooms and you make sure that everything runs smoothly.
You speak to guests in an appropriate and hospitable way. Due to your friendly, professional and fast service, guests will want for nothing.
You make sure that your colleagues feel happy at work and you manage the F&B team in a positive way. Needless to say, you also roll up your sleeves yourself.
You lead daily shift briefings.
You assist in keeping operations manuals up to date.
You prevent, correct and handle complaints, possibly with some needed improvising and always with positivity.
Next to this, you will be working on a management project. The topic of this project will be determined in consultation with the hotel and depends on the length of your internship. Examples of topics can be waste, personnel planning, menu engineering or assessment interviews.

To be able to do your internship in the hotels in Brugge en Melle, it is important that you are able to speak English fluently. For Hotel Brugge-Oostkamp it is a plus if you speak Dutch, and for Hotel Melle-Osnabrück it is a plus if you speak German, but both are not a must.
