WHAT YOU DO 💪

As a Finance Intern, you will be involved in:

• Processing purchase invoices and ensuring timely payments
• Booking bank statements
• Processing and booking income audits/cash books, including investigating any discrepancies
• Managing debtors through reminders and account creation, both via email and phone
• Documenting and inventorying work processes
• Assisting the Finance Manager and Financial Controller in daily tasks

Additionally, in consultation with the hotel and depanding on the duration of your internship, you will have interesting managment-level assignments. These assignments may include tasks like digitizing administration or optimizing management sheets.

Data & Distribution Internship

For these internship positions, we are looking for an intern to join us for a period of 10 months, combining this internship with a challenging management assignment!

WHAT YOU DO 💪

During your internship, you will manage SEA campaigns for Van der Valk Hotels in collaboration with the Distribution Manager. You will analyze the performance of various marketing channels to ensure we achieve the best results. Your main tasks will include:

• Managing, optimizing and creating SEA campaigns
• Conducting performance analyses of different marketing channels
• Preparing data for dashboard projects
• Setting up dashboards in PowerBI

WHO YOU ARE 😁

• You are studying for a bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or Hotel Management
• You are precise, driven and enthusiastic
• You are independent and proactive
• You have experience with formulas and pivot tables in Excel

Revenue Management Internship

As a Revenue Management intern, you will work with Van der Valk business. During your internship, you will support the Revenue Managers, Senior Manager Revenue Management & Strategy, and the Revenue & Distribution Coordinator.

Van der Valk Business serves as the corporate service point for companies and partners. In addition to managing room and meeting space reservations from the Service Desk, central corporate contracts are negotiated, overarching Sales & Marketing activities are coordinated, and Revenue Management services are offered.

WHAT YOU DO 💪

Support the Revenue Managers:

• Assist in the preparation of reports
• Run additional analyses, analyze and further explore with the Revenue Manager
• Ensure rate parity and single image at all hotels
• Support the Senior Manager Revenue Management & Strategy

Support the Senior Manager Revenue Management & Strategy:

• Support in creating reports for all affiliated hotels
• Create deeper analysis for htoels that deserve extra attention
• Keep track of all strategies and promotions for all hotels

Support the Revenue & Distributie Coordinator:

• Support to ensure that all corporate companies affiliated with Valk Business can book
• Support to manage and optimize Travelclick and our GDS provider
