Guest Relations trainee

Job description

As a Guest Relations trainee, you are the "business card" of our hotel and the first point of contact for our guests. You make sure that our guests have nothing to wish for and ensure a fantastic guest experience throughout their stay.


Responsibilities & tasks:

  • You are a great host and you offer all the service a guest could wish for in a professional manner.

  • You take good care of VIP arrivals.
  • You ensure a fantastic arrival and departure experience for guests.
  • You are the driving force behind the Front Office service in terms of guest contact.
  • As an ambassador for our lobby, you actively approach guests. In this way you find out what their wishes are and how you can make their stay extra pleasant.
  • You anticipate the needs of guests.
  • You prevent, rectify and handle complaints, possibly with the necessary improvising and always with positivity.
  • Together with the Marketing Manager, you take care of answering guest reviews.

As Guest Relations trainee, you have:

  • A proactive attitude
  • Eye for detail
  • Multilingualism (Dutch and English, for Brussels French as well)
  • A great sense of responsibility and commitment
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Focus on quality and guests

Internship details:

  • Fulltime internship (30-40 hours per week)
  • Duration of at least 20 weeks
  • Operational and management level
