For this internship position, we are looking for a student who will be joining our team for at least 15 weeks, for 4 or 5 days per week. Furthermore, to qualify for this internship position, it is important that you speak the language of the country where the hotel is located. For internships in the Netherlands and Flanders, therefore, you have to be able to speak Dutch fluently to qualify for this internship position. For our international hotels, a fairly good command will suffice.

Housekeeping Supervisor

As Housekeeping Supervisor Trainee, you have an important job within the hotel. Under your supervision, our hotel will look eminent every day. Together with your team, you are responsible for the WoW-effect when guests enter their hotel room.


You ensure that our hotel looks perfect by:

  • Leading the Housekeeping team in a positive way and helping out in operations when needed.
  • Regularly giving on-the-job trainings to the Housekeeping team.
  • Checking the hotel rooms, public areas, linnen rooms, service rooms, vacuum cleaners and housekeeping trolleys on a daily basis.
  • Making a proper division of tasks.
  • Solving any problems that occur.
  • Living up to any rules that are set regarding hygiene, presentation (of rooms), practices together with the team. You will learn about the fire and emergency procedures of your department and how to act in these situations. You will also learn about working according to sustainability standards (Green Key).
  • Being helpful towards guests and communicating with guests in a coorect and friendly manner. You are also expected to act like this towards colleagues.
  • Being (partly) responsible for administrative tasks within the Housekeeping department and ordering necessary cleaning agents, guest supplies, parts of equipment and such at the purchasing department.

To do this internship in the Netherlands or Flanders, you have to be able to speak Dutch fluently. For the internship position at Hotel Luxembourg-Arlon, it is important that you are also able to speak French

Technical Services

Are you the 'handyman' or 'handywoman' with a no-nonsense mentality that we are looking for? As Technical Service Trainee, you are, together with your colleagues, responsible for all technical duties and maintenance within the hotel. We are looking for a dexterous someone to execute the necessary repairs and maintenance work.


Responsibilities & tasks:

  • You carry out repairs and maintenance work. This includes equipment, plumbing, hinges and locks, lighting and installations.
  • You are partly responsible for the quick and efficient solving of problems and malfunctions and for following up ad hoc complaints.
  • You support your Technical Service colleagues in various activities.
  • You make sure that workspaces and tools are in neat and good condition.
  • You report malfunctions and maintenance activities and you register them in the existing systems.

In this position you are mainly busy on the work floor, but you also spend a few hours on administration. In addition to technical insight, you also have the ability to keep the guest experience in mind.


As Technical Service Trainee, you are solution-focused and you take initiative to get the job done. You have affinity with gas, water, engineering and electricity, you can set priorities and you are flexible in workdays and times. You also take into account that you may be needed on public holidays and, if necessary, on weekends. You are a fantastic colleague to work with and you enjoy your work. That is clearly evident from the ever-present smile on your face.

Duty Management

Do you think it would be fantastic to be involved in all departments of the hotel and are you someone who does not shy away from a challenge? In that case, the position of Duty Trainee is definitely an interesting internship for you.


This is what you will be doing:

  • You assist in every department within the hotel, depending on which department needs extra support at that moment.

  • You are a wonderful host(ess); the face of our team. You give our guests a warm welcome and actively approach guests in the lobby. In this way, you find out about their wishes and how to surprise the guests even more. You also take reservations and place guests in the restaurant.

  • You create real WOW moments for our guests.

  • You communicate specific wishes of guests with the relevant departments and add this directly in the guest profile in IDPMS.

  • Our VIP guests are pampered extra by you with the use of our VIP plan.

  • You assist our guests in a professional manner and with a radiant smile. If problems concerning room defects occur, you immediately try to provide technical support yourself.

  • You regularly walk around through the hotel, check hotel rooms, supervise the safety and orderliness of the hotel and identify technical defects. You report irregularities to the management.

  • You are always aware of the events and parties taking place at the hotel.

  • You prevent and handle complaints in consultation with the Front Office Manager.

  • You check the Lost & Found procedure and monitor this.


As a Duty Trainee, you have to be at multiple places at the same time sometimes, but this is not a challenge to you. You are a real problem solver and you know how to surprise our guests. You are able to speak English fluently, for the hotels in the Netherlands also Dutch, and maybe even a bit of French. You are enthusiastic and eager to learn, and with your positive attitude, you know how to make our guests happy.
