As Hotel Opening Assistant, you will play a key role in the preparation and execution of the opening of our new hotel. You will support the coordination of processes, work with various teams and gain insight into the operational and strategic aspects of a hotel opening. This internship offers you a unique opportunity to demonstrate entrepreneurship and gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

WHAT YOU DO 💪

• Project coordination: Assist in the planning and coordination of the hotel opening, including monitoring deadlines and collaboration between teams
• Operational processes: Assist in establishing and implementing work processes to ensure smooth operations
• Recruitment and training: Assist in hiring and training new employees
• Furnishing and stock management: Ensuring the hotel is ready for opening, including furniture, decoration and supplies
• Supplier coordination: Liaise with suppliers and ensure timely delivery and installation of products
• Quality control: Checking that all aspects meet our high standards
• Marketing and promotion: Assist with promotional activities and events around the opening
• Problem solving: Respond quickly to unexpected situations and provide effective solutions

WHO YOU ARE 😁

• You are following a relevant education at MBO or HBO level, for example in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Project Management
• You are entrepreneurial, proactive and organised
• You have strong communication skills and can work well together
• You are flexible and stress-resistant, and can change gear quickly
